The work of weathermen

1. Weather forecasts are very important for people because they help us plan our activities, especially for those whose work depends on the weather. Farmers, pilots, sailors, and construction workers are among those who rely on weather forecasts.
2. People can listen to daily weather forecasts every day on the radio and TV. Also, they can get this information online.
3. Weathermen usually collect information about weather at weather stations, airports, and from satellites.
4. If a barometer shows high pressure in summer, the usual weather is sunny and dry. In winter, it is cold and frosty.
5. Many families do listen to weather forecasts or watch them on television to stay informed about the weather.
6. I have never got into trouble because of a wrong weather forecast, but I know it can be frustrating when the weather doesn't match the forecast.
