An Incredible Find (Невероятная Находка)

It was a sunny (солнечное) Sunday afternoon, and I was pleasantly (приятно) bored while fishing with my friend Tom at the riverbank. Our lines stayed lazy (лениво) still; we were ready to leave. Suddenly, Tom’s rod bent hard, and he excitedly (возбужденно) pulled at his line. It wasn’t a fish, though; it was a heavy, damp (тяжелый, влажный) rectangular metal box.

We wiped the mud off and saw it was old and rusted, locked with a massive (огромной) chain. My heart started pounding (колотиться) with anticipation (предвкушением).
