• Kulich and Paskha: Special Easter breads (Kulich) and curd cheese desserts (Paskha), often shaped into a pyramid and decorated with religious symbols, are prepared.

• Church Services: Elaborate midnight services are held in Orthodox churches, involving processions, chanting, and the ringing of bells. Many Russians attend these services to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
• Festive Meals: After the Lenten fast, families gather for a large festive meal featuring the prepared Kulich, Paskha, and various meat dishes.
• 'Khristos Voskrese' greeting: A traditional greeting exchanged during Easter week is 'Khristos Voskrese!' (Christ is Risen!), with the response 'Voistinu Voskrese!' (Truly He is Risen!).
