We saw a big house with a garden. It looked empty. There were beautiful flowers in the overgrown garden. The garden was magnificent. But we were scared. We thought we might meet a ghost. It was late. We were tired and decided to knock. Suddenly the door opened. We saw a tall, helpless old man. He introduced himself as Mr. Green. Mr. Green invited us in. We wanted to help him prepare supper.

b) Translate the dialogue:

Hello, Andrey! Where were you yesterday? I wanted to invite you to the computer club, but I couldn't find you.

Hi! Yesterday Anya had her birthday. She invited me. We had a good time. What did you choose for her as a present?

Chocolates and flowers. Anya chose chocolate candies. Did you go to the cinema?

No. I couldn't find you. I watched TV. I went to the computer club.
