The Great Wall of China Dear Anna, I've just come back from China, and the most impressive thing I saw was the Great Wall. It is one of the greatest wonders of the world. At first it was made to protect the country from enemies, but now it is a symbol of Chinese history and culture. We visited a part of the Wall near Beijing.
