Present Simple vs. Present Continuous (1)

Present Simple: используется для регулярных действий, фактов, привычек.

Present Continuous: используется для действий, происходящих в момент речи, временных ситуаций.

Правила спряжения:

• He, she, it + глагол с окончанием -s (works)
• He, she, it + doesn't + глагол без окончания (doesn't work)
• I, you, we, they + глагол без окончания (work)
• I, you, we, they + don't + глагол без окончания (don't work)
• am + глагол с окончанием -ing (I am working)
• is + глагол с окончанием -ing (He is working)
• are + глагол с окончанием -ing (They are working)

Упражнение:

1. This is Mrs White. She is (be) a primary school teacher.
2. She teaches (teach) English, Maths and Geography.
3. At the moment, she is teaching (teach) Maths.
4. She lives (live) in London and is (be) married to Georges, who is French.
5. They have (have) three children.
6. They love (love) animals, but they are living (live) in an apartment.
7. Mrs White doesn't have (not have) any pets because they speak (speak) French as well as English, but she is not teaching (not teach) it.
