OCTOPUS CARDS Octopus cards are travel cards which people buy and use to travel on public transport in Hong Kong. You ¹have to / don't have to have one to travel around; however, they are very useful. You ² should / shouldn't think about buying a card when you arrive. They save time because you ³ shouldn't / don't have to stand in queues or find money to buy single journey tickets. You can use the cards on all kinds of public transport. You can also use them in some taxis – but you ⁴ should / shouldn't always ask the taxi driver when you get into the taxi. You ⁵ should / shouldn't ask at the end of your journey.
