In my opinion, the most important role of science in creating a sustainable future is developing innovative solutions to environmental problems and providing the data and understanding needed to guide policy and individual actions. This includes creating clean energy technologies, developing sustainable agricultural practices, finding ways to manage waste and pollution, and helping us understand the long-term impacts of our actions on the planet.
