Dear Helen,

Thank you for your letter. It's great to hear from you. I'm happy to become your pen friend.

I'm from Portsmouth, England. I'm thirteen and want to tell you a few words about my big family. So, first, my (1) mum. My mum's called Elizabeth, or just Beth. She's a journalist in the Guardian newspaper. Dad is an economist. I have two (2) brothers, Mike and Dave, they're (3) ten. We're all at school. My elder sister is (4) Peter to a very nice guy, Peter. They have two children, my (5) sister Vicky and my (6) brother Jack. My Mum's sister, (7) aunt Julia lives in Glasgow, that's in Scotland. She's got a daughter, and that's my (8) cousin Lynn. She's my age. She's an (9) only child in the family so far. I love it when they come to our place. It's great hanging out together with her.

Dad's brother, (10) uncle Sam is not married, he's (11) single. He's still young and studies at London University.

My grandparents live in the country. We try to visit them at weekends and sometimes even on weekdays. They're just great! I love my family!
